Talkin' up a storm

Mason is talking! Well, sort of talking, anyway. He's got one syllable down...and put two of the same syllable together, you've got a word that means something. He's got sticky fingers lately too. We can't leave anything within arm's reach of him or it'll get swiped. Guess it's time to start baby-proofing the house.

Winter days

We don't yet have a double stroller for our nanny, so when Angel is with her (gordito that he is), she usually puts him in the stroller and wears Mason in the front carrier. She'll bundle Mason in an adorable full-body snow suit so that no body parts are exposed.

Mason's still working on the rolling over thing. Luckily he has a playmate who's a few weeks older and can demonstrate for him.

Rolling Over...Almost

We've got the front to back thing almost licked but aren't anywhere close to back to front yet. Blowing rasberries, on the other hand, is a piece of cake!

First Foods

Mason started with cereal about a month ago and graduated to other first foods shortly thereafter. So far it looks like he prefers sweet potatoes above other things, though his options have been limited to sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, and a few fruits. To my surprise, he didn't love bananas.
